Save the Arts & Music Benefit Concert
Save the Arts & Music Benefit Concert
THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 18th 4:30PM
As of right now, Stoneham chooses Arts & Music in the the public elementary systems something to drop and use to trim the budget. This Saturday, join us in supporting a very big part of our upbringing in Stoneham.
On Saturday, August 18th, The Save the Arts & Music Benefit Concert 2007 will feature performances by over eight local bands. Each band contains at least one, if not all members that have graduated from Stoneham Public Schools. View this short video on youtube to get a perspective of why the bands will be on stage that night.
This event has been setup to raise money for these programs to remain in the system and continue to be a part of the children's education and experience in Stoneham.
Tickets are being sold online, or at the door the night of the show. $20 ($12 for students)
Bands will be playing throughout the evening, starting at 5:00PM. We have also invited several artists (SHS Alumni) to display their artwork in the corridors. In addition to non-stop art & music, we have several great raffle items donated by various towns people. To name just a few - red sox tickets, ozzfest tickets, DVD+CD Bundle package, mp3 players, and much more...
Tee Shirts have been designed and will be available for sale at the show. All proceeds benefiting the cause. Visit each bands myspace page to check out their music...
